Mike Gamblin wears many hats. After starting his real estate career in 1990, he opened Mike Gamblin Real Estate in 1992, a firm specializing in residential brokerage in the Treasure Valley and still remains the designated broker of the firm with approximately 15 agents.
He holds a GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) and the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations. He has also been instructing real estate agents since 1998.
In 2004 Mike opened the Idaho Real Estate School and by 2008 was Idaho’s largest real estate school. Today the Idaho Real Estate School instructs new agents entering the business, as well as continuing education and Broker pre-license courses around the state. An avid believer in staying involved in your profession, Mike has served as the president of the Ada County Association of REALTORS in 1998 and was the 2004 State REALTOR President. In 1998 Mike was the Board Forum Chairman for the National Association of REALTORS where local REALTOR boards would meet 3 times a year to discuss issues affecting them.
Mike holds the Certified Distance Education Instructor Designation and is a member of the Real Estate Educators Association. Mike also travels out of state teaching real estate instructors methods to improve their teaching. In 2013 Mike was appointed to the Idaho Real Estate Commission by Governor Otter and is currently chairman.
Mike was born in Sandpoint, Idaho and now resides in Hidden Springs, Idaho with his wife Carla. They have four children and three grandchildren.
In 2006 Carla started working at the Idaho Real Estate School as a bookkeeper. Since then Carla has been working alongside husband Mike Gamblin building the school and brokerage company Mike Gamblin Real Estate with pride, hard work, sincerity and with the highest of ethics. When Carla is not working at the school or working as a REALTOR, you can find her enjoying life with family and friends.

Jim was born and raised in the Chicago area where he lived until he joined the U.S. Air Force. After spending some time stationed in the South Pacific he was transferred to Mountain Home Airforce Base for his last two years of duty. He became attached to the Idaho lifestyle and vowed to relocate to Boise someday.
After his military discharge, he became employed in the Aero Space electronics industry as an Industrial Engineer where he acquired extensive experience in productivity improvement, management, and cost reduction activities.Jim kept his promise to himself and relocated to Boise in 1990 and decided to enter the real estate business.
He obtained his Sales Associate license in 1991, his Broker’s license in 2008, and became a certified instructor in 2003. Jim is very active in Real Estate marketing and sales as well as educational endeavors; teaching both pre license and continuing education classes.
Lori started her career at Chicago Title in the Treasure Valley in 1980. She stayed in the title insurance industry for the next 21 years. The majority of her time was spent in a marketing capacity. She progressed through the marketing ranks until she became the Marketing Director and Vice President of Marketing in 1988. In 1996 she took over as an Escrow Branch Manager and then a year later became Ada County Escrow Operations Manager. She loved her time working in the title industry. She gained valuable knowledge and built lifelong relationships. In 2001 she went to work for First American Home Warranty in Idaho and continued to work for them for the next 7 years. In 2008 she accepted a position with Home Warranty of America to manage their Idaho operation. She continues to work for HWA and love what she does.
Over the course of her career, She’s been the student and the teacher, covering a wide range of topics. Currently she teaches continuing education classes in Idaho with regard to home warranties and reducing risk. She is active in Women’s Council of Realtors. SheI takes pride in the various real estate related activities, charities and organizations which she serves.
She has been fortunate to live in Idaho most of her life. She loves everything outdoors; camping, riding horses and mules into the backcountry, fishing, hiking, etc. Most of all, she loves her family. She has three great kids and is a grandma (which is the icing on the cake of life!).
Linda and her family moved here in 2003 from Oregon. She originally hails from Connecticut. She enjoys golfing, gardening, quilting, traveling and outdoor activities! She has been a PC Computer Consultant/Programmer/Educator for 22 years before moving into the Real Estate Industry.
In 2004 she started investing in Real Estate buying and fixing up properties. Keeping abreast of the Real Estate market, as she saw the market change, and got my real estate agents license to be able to help all homeowners who owe more on their home than what it’s worth, to get their house sold! She knows the housing market valley wide like the back of her hand! She continually stays on top of industry news to educate herself and follow monthly statistics so she always knows what is going on in the market to get properties sold fast for sellers and find great bargains for buyers.
